NFC East Quarterbacks

The one division that has more question marks than answers at the quarterback position in 2013 daily fantasy sports is the NFC East. There are divisions that have a worse overall collection of talent but there aren’t many with as many borderline starters. Tony Romo is a great example. His stats last year were pretty good but he doesn’t rank among the starters in a ten team daily fantasy sports league. Worse yet he doesn’t have the faith of the coaching staff. The Cowboys may be a great team next year and Romo could be fantastic as well but nobody would be surprised if they fired him after going 3-13 next year. The same cannot be said of Eli Manning and the Giants. His job will be safe forever but his overall production level is very low compared to other quarterbacks with super bowl rings. Manning can do a lot but he can’t generate the touchdowns to be great in daily fantasy sports.

The Redskins have the best quarterback in the division but his injury could hold his value down in daily fantasy sports drafts. Other players have missed ten months with similar injuries and the Redskins may not want to risk the future of the franchise this year for a team that really isn’t that good. As for the Eagles, well, there are a lot of questions. This is the hardest team to analyze this year by quite a bit. Vick can be a starter but at this point he’s so risky that he isn’t going to be drafted before the eighth round of the draft. Nick Foles could start but he’s got even less value because he has no track record. Neither is good enough to start for any team in daily fantasy sports right now and there’s a chance that both could get some time as the starter this season.
